Source is an International Information Support Centre designed to strengthen the management, use and impact of information on health and disability.
Source is a collaborative venture of the Centre for International Health and Development (formerly CICH); Healthlink Worldwide; and Handicap International.
Source has a unique collection of around 25,000 information resources. These include books, journals, manuals, reports, posters, CD-ROMs, websites and organisations. Many materials are from developing countries and include both published and unpublished literature not readily available elsewhere in the UK.
Source's mission is to use available expertise to support the dissemination, repackaging and sharing of information on international health and disability to promote research, innovation, learning and training and North-South organisational linkages. Source will be characterised by being sustainable, responsive and encouraging of both creativity and innovation.
Source has updated the Mainstreaming Disability keylist in partnership with the Mainstreaming Disability in Development Co-operation Project.
This keylist contains introductory resources, policy & guidelines and manuals, offering 30 of the most practical and useful mainstreaming disability resources.
