Healthlink Worldwide was founded in 1977 and aims to strengthen capacity in the South through the integration of communication, learning and knowledge management in order to develop an effective strategic response to health and development priorities. We specialise in people-centred health communication with a global reach through extensive partnership networks and work with local people to help them better voice their needs, and use communication more effectively to influence the decision makers that immediately affect their lives. We work in collaboration with over 30 Southern partners in health and disability communication and have a UK office with 13 staff plus two based in-country. In addition to this we are able to draw upon a global network of consultants to implement our work. Our partners range from grassroots and community-based organisations, to national networks of non-governmental organisations and government ministries, in over 20 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East.
